How does NIFO compare to a regular towel?
NIFO outperforms regular and specialist towels in terms of hygiene and overall feel.
How do I wash my NIFO Towel?
We recommend machine washing in cold and gentle cycle for optimal washing to maintain the good quality of the towel, however you can also wash in hot water and high tumble dry.
Why have the sensing strips come out of the wash pink?
This actually means that there is still some soap left on your towel after you have washed it. Some brands of detergent (e.g., Tide) don't dissolve as well in water compared to other brands. Please try another brand of detergent and run it through a wash again and you should see that it has turned blue if all the soap has come off.
Strips not changing colors?
Sensing areas won't change color unless they detect contamination that requires cleaning. For instance, after repeated contact with bacteria, dirt, or sweat. To test this, you can use something with a similar chemistry as sweat, such as Sprite, and it will most likely show a change.
Where is NIFO produced?
The crafting process of NIFO begins in Japan and is completed in a specialist factory in China. This factory's expertise is towel making for the Japanese market and for Japanese companies. We do this to ensure that the towel is high quality and follows Japanese craftsmanship principles while remaining affordable.
